With the temps starting to drop, what recommendations do folks have for heated grips? This is for a M696.

Had similar to

on my bikes f years.
Best 30 bucks I`ve spent on the bike!
Very easy installation, too.

How do you get the grip on over the top without ripping all to pieces?

what do you mean

OOHHH!!! you mean how do you put it back onto the bar.
Compressed air. the air expands it and puts an layer of air and slides right on without effort at all.

Easiest way to get grips on or off is with compressed air. Just use a nozzle at the inside end of the grip...it inflates it a bit and lets you slip it on or off easily. Old trick for motorcycles and bicycles. Might even work on wheelbarrows, for all I know.

When I did them, we wanted to swap out grips anyways, so cut the old ones off, and then the goo used to adhere the new ones also acted as a lubricant to slide them on.

I use little dish washing liquid to slip them back, works good.
Sameoff actuelly: Lift rubber w screwdriver, pour it in, work off.

I put the Dual Stars on my bike last year. And they are better than nothing. Great for the price really. But last weekend my hands were getting pretty cold at 45 degrees. We rode about 2.5 hours, stopped, then another 2.5. FWIW I had Underarmor glove liners and my Teknic gloves on.
Aerostich also makes an economical heater that velcroes over your existing grip that has fair reviews.

You should also add a pair of handguards to shield your hands from wind.

It's possible. The low seems to put out more power but I figured I just got the connection backwards. I'll have to check it out, tho the end of the season is almost here unless I get a new battery.
