Wow, Sgt_H, I think my cats must come to live with you at night, and switch identities.  The resemblance is uncanny.

This is Beaker.  He is a Hoor. (Though not hooring it up in this pic)

This is CB.  He is a ninja.  You will never see him this closely again.

My wife found this cat at work.Probably about 8 months old now. Apparently it had been hanging around the garden center and wouldn't let anyone near it. One day it came up to her and she called to see if she could bring it home. She thought it was female but no. For whatever reason he took a liking to me and doesn't want anything to do with her unless she's feeding him. So at least he's got a good sense of people. He's the best thing I'm walking away from the marriage with.

Here is he guarding my fresh brewed beer Smiley Name: Kat. Fierce biter of toes when hungry. Which is 22 hours a day.

We have a stealth kitty named Hellen. no pics available.

Last night.... Annie, our new dog, ran Hellen , up a tree. Hellen is about 14 years old, and has never climed a tree in her life. My attempt at getting her down failed. As soon as I climed up, she climbed higher. Then at one point, she shimmied her way out on a branch, and fell about 14 feet. She then ran and hid in the cat condo.
Michelle went in after her, and discovered blood streaming from Hellens nose.

The blood stopped flowing after a bit.

Hellen spent the night in bed with us, and appears to be doing ok.

cute Smiley

the white one... is he/she deaf by any chance?

i know a couple of deaf white cats...

(Sorry; didn't see the question until the thread revived just now)

Yin's not deaf, just so good at ignoring us when we don't have anything of interest that we thought so at first.

and for those familiar with eastern philosophy, their names are wrong -- in the Yin-Yang symbol, Yin is the black, feminine, cool, intuitive side & Yang is the white, masculine, hot, action-oriented side. While the colors are wrong (and they're both female -- two sisters from a four & four litter of white & black), the descriptions fit their personalities remarkably well. Yang, for example, is the one laying on the Enter & Shift keys right now insisting that I've got better things to do than screwing around on the DMF. She's right, but she's not going to like the alternative, either...

Yes.  That is their fate unless you adopt them.

Here is Cookie.  He's almost 3 years old, also loves power sliding on hardwood floors, sleeping all day, and occasionally sneaking outside to beat the ^%^& out of the neighborhood cats.  His left eye tears like crazy, so all over our windows and floors are droplet stains (he had an eye infection as a kitten).
