This big lump of love has been living in my yard for a few weeks.  He's clearly blind, though that doesn't give him too much trouble when it comes to finding the food bowl.  I'm taking him into my vet tomorrow to get him checked out and then trying to find a home for him.

Sounds like he's already found one.

The vet, or a specialist, might even be able to fix his eyes.

Well, after a brief visit to the vet, it turns out that his name is Blue and his home is around the corner from me.  I expect that if he ever sneaks out again that I'll see him on my porch briefly before his owners (who I now know) come to retrieve him.

I would have been tempted to keep him myself if I didn't already have two fuzzbuckets running around the house, but since he was chipped he at least has a family who cares for him.
