So what the hell happened last week? I was drunk off my ass by the time it was on and totally missed it.

(With any luck tonight won't be a repeat of last week....but it might.)  [drink]

They gotta move it to a different night....

with only a handful of episodes left in the series, i doubt they'll accommodate ya.

you can watch what you missed here, though:

I'm still confused about Starbuck though. Cylon or not a cylon?

Speedbag

I had been thinkin' that she was. Then not. Now that she might be again.

This show better not have a lame-o ending.....

Didn't some show in the 80s end with it being all a dream or something? That would suck giant donkey balls.

I think it was 'St. Elsewhere' that turned out to be the dreams of a psychotic patient or something.

BSG is either going to end up being thought provoking and good, or it's just going to be complete dreck.

I have to admit, I'm still on the fence as to whether I like this last season or not.

Drunken Monkey

Seems like they're wrapping it up a bit fast.

So, the human type cylons were built by humans that developed robots that eventually caused an apocalypse on their new world. So they traveled back to warn humans that the same thing would happen to them, only to find it was too late. So they allied themselves with the robots in order to build humanoid robots to...

Wha?

I own several motorcycles. I have owned lots of motorcycles. And have bolted and/or modified lots of crap to said motorcycles...

humans created the "metal" cylons.

the "final five" were researchers working on re-inventing resurrection

the metal cylons turned on the humans that created them, resulting in the destruction of earth.

when the earth was destroyed, the final five were resurrected to a ship they had in earth orbit.

they then set out for the other 12 colonies to warn them that the cylons would turn against them.

they lacked the technology for faster-than-light travel, so they didn't arrive in time to head off a human-cylon war.

in order to stop the war, the final five and the metal cylons agreed to a truce. the final five then created seven (or eight) humanoid cylons that combined the cylon belief in a single god with human traits like compassion.

the first humanoid cylon, cavil, didn't care for that programming (nor his humanoid body) and "boxed" the final five, erasing their memories and sending them off to live with the humans.
