This is one of D's best showing off the ear goofyness shots.

Tag is short for Tagheuer? Watchdog?  :D
If the state had not cut funding for the mental institutions, this project could never have happened.

Nope

His name is Taggart Alex.

Taggart is a character from one of my wife's favorite books, Atlas Shrugged by Ayn Rand.

Are you answering a Jeopardy! question?

Edit:   ;)   <wink added for MRI's benefit that that question was in jest only>

;) ;)

Ok, back to dogs.  Keep the pictures coming.   [thumbsup]

Here are some pictures of the kids.

Greta is now probably full grown and weighing in around 68lbs which is perfect.

Tag......well......he is 5 months and already weighs 46lbs. We have a monster on our hands.

Sorry for the droopy ear picture, we had them untapped for 3 days and this was the re-tape day. He is learning very good ear control, but these suckers are so long, he needs to grow into them. His left ear stands perfectly, it's the right one we are having issues with.

Enjoy.

And here are a few I just took.

by the way..........we did decide on a dog food for them: They are now eating Blue. They both seem to enjoy it.

Tag doing what he enjoys best: taking up the whole couch

Greta: Not sure what this look is, but kind of looks evil, like she is about to eat a small child, which Dobermans are known for

Your dogs are looking good.  [thumbsup]

Blue looks like quality food. High protein so be careful with the pup. We had to switch our dogs back to Nutro Ultra...Senior since the Dane is getting old. A good food, but not ultra premium...everything we tried was too rich for our lab. We couldn't handle the stench anymore!  [laugh]

I'm surprised Greta doesn't weigh more. She looks heavier than 68. Hard to tell on dogs though. Gabby (lab) is 72-75 lbs, and she doesn't look that heavy to me. She has a solid build though.

cyrus buelton

Yeah, she was just in at the Vet for her yearly check up and that's what she clocked in at.

I think the muscle structure and more importantly, the phone structure on a lab is much "heartier" than that of a doberman.

I think your dog weighs more than you said, but maybe it is the same thing, perception of the picture?

Could be that my sense of scale is all off with Emma around though. we refer to Gabby as the small dog!  [laugh]
