I got a call on Monday about 11a informing me that both of my dogs were out loose. Fortunately, the neighbor was able to round them up into their yard. It turns out that Mission is quite the digger as evidenced by the hole under the fence and broken fence boards at the corner of my yard. That's earned them a closed kennel door instead of free roam of the back yard when I'm gone until I can install some dig prevention measures around the back yard. Dulce was always content to chase squirels and lay out in the sun all day.
In other news, Mission makes for a good foot warmer. That or my foot makes for a good pillow.

What do you mean you "looked at"?!?!?
Did you not take that creature home? How could you not if you didn't?!

It wasn't easy. We may go back next week - there are some issues about the litter I'm not crazy about - but that little feller was a heart stealer.

Smart move too to wait if there is any doubt. Good luck - definitely a handsome pup!

Well living in a creek for his first year was tough on Luca's teeth, so as much as we hate putting him under, we want to make sure they stay as healthy as possible. Two years ago he lost a lower canine and during his cleaning today, he had to have that site cleaned out a bit.
Now resting peacefully I'm his bed.

The last time we had a fence digger we put chicken wire on the ground and wired it to the bottom of the fence. We covered it with a thin layer of dirt and the dog got tired of catching its toes and gave up the attempts!

Wabbit! Lots of those around here. Dulce will try, but she's too fat and slow.
