tried mushers secret.. works pretty well.. bit pricey for the size but i live in nyc so.. only down part is depending how much snow/salt is out there depends how much you should use so the small size probably last about 1 month for every day use in the winter.. summer, cause its good for hot asphalt you could probably get it to last 2 months..

We use Vaseline on the pads. Keeps them moist and supple and they don't seem to complain about the salt.
we're in montreal and get very salty streets in the winter.

Came home with this guy last Friday. Mission is his name and he's a lab/pit mix. The shelter's records indicated that he was adopted, but picked up as a stray again. When they contacted the owner "she wasn't sure that she wanted him back." So far he seems to be a good guy and most importantly he gets along with my other dog Dulce. He is a bit underweight and has infections in both ears, but those will be taken care of now.
