I think Red baron and I have the same beach. Beautiful and 75*.  We went out there whale watching the last couple days.   Much better than the Hoth System pictured above.   :-X

Always wondered how the ice fishing was on Hoth???....  Tauntauns would work good for pulling my shanty out on the ice, unless I could get a good deal on a surplus Imperial Walker. 

I look forward to winter and snow.  The motorcycle gets put away and the skis and snowshoes come out.  Cross country skiing, downhill skiing, snowshoeing, ice fishing, coyote calling, feeling the warm house heated with the wood I  put up all summer, eating the food we grew and preserved.  I seriously do enjoy it.

Predicated lows of -2ºF tonight...  Well below normal for this time of year!

Ellie is happy to have a spot on the couch!  (she only has three to choose from, complete with pillows)

Comfy looking hound!  -23F right now, wind chill at -45F.  Good day to enjoy staying inside and throwing wood into the gassifier.

New addition to our household...





Her name is Dakota and we rescued her last night.  She is a very sweet girl.  :)

The very best dogs are rescues.  They know and appreciate their new owners not just going for a new puppy.
