Sorry about your dog...

You might want to wait on that for a few days.

So sorry to hear this, cb.  :'(

I agree with dp, give it a few days before you sit down with the vet. See if you still want to.

Judd,

So so so sorry to hear about Alex.  Anything you need just let me know.  I'm around anytime if you want to get a beer and forget about things.

Thanks all for your condolences. It means a lot to Tiffany and I.

It was just sudden and we weren't there for him, which is something we will never forget.

But we do have some great memories to hold on to.

I know, I know.

That is just my human nature reaction of being upset. Eventually will go speak to him and at the same time, will gather all of Greta's records and move to a different Vet. I won't be hostile either, just want to know more about that 500$ solution he came up with to make my little guy healthy again.

He did go on a steroid right before we left, so I wonder if that might have made it worse? I don't know and we never will know.

Sad news, I am sorry for your loss...

unfortunately it is the price we pay when we take them on

and they never go at the time or in the way we would prefer to imagine..it is near always a blind-sider

but considering what our dogs give to us...our sorrow is a small price to pay in exchange

July will be a year since we put down our German Shepherd, Tucker...

took him in for a check-up and got a call that he was inoperable

I know the road you're walking Judd  hang in there

This is an insult to the Pez community

Sorry to hear about Alex, CB.

He's chasing endless squirrels in the big dog park in the sky now.

muskrat

I'm sorry to hear that.  I too was away when my Springer passed away but at least he was in my bed on my pillow.  Terrible feeling, my sympathy.
