Blow something up for me ...preferably Taliban. Dolph I've been trying to, but haven't gotten a chance to play with explosives all that often since being down here. I did get a chance to put some rounds on target while flying in an HH-60, near the Khyber Pass about a month ago.

This is my boy Cliff And I don't mind saying he's been the best dog ever. I've had him all my adult life, picked him out of the litter. It's rough though now because finally after 13+ years of perfect health he is on his last legs after developing a tumor in his nose. Man they say the hardest part is letting them go and it really is. He is still getting around but it's a real downer to see how his condition has suppressed his doggie spirit. But dogs don't complain they just get on with it so I guess I could learn something from that.

Poor dog! 13 years is a good life but it's still never enough! Yeah... what I wouldn't give for just one more good year... the idea of another dog is unthinkable...

Still blaming myself for my Mastiff's death. I can't even think about him without getting choked up. I've even put all the good thoughts out of my mind. No dog will replace him but I can give another a good home. No reason to start thinking of another dog yet FP. Just enjoy every second of the time he has left! When the time comes though..see if there is someone in the area that will come to your house. We did that for our Pug in AZ. The good folks here (or TOB) we're kind enough to locate a Vet for Izaac. It was better that way.

Thanks Howie and Adam I appreciate it a lot, really. I think it's rougher on me than it is on him! I'm a single guy and it's just me and him right now. I think afterward I will have to move out of my place since there will be dog hair there forever probably.

In part..that's why we left our house in AZ (we LOVED that place too) but hey..everything happens for a reason. It was the perfect time to get out of Phoenix!! I recall you saying you a few weeks ago that you might be ready for a change of scenery. He's not gone yet so make sure you're taking out to do his favorite things daily and take a lot of pictures.

Sorry about Cliff, FP. No matter how many years you get, it's never enough If I had my way, my lil' black lab, Zoe, would live forever.

Thanks - it really does, that's how he was, the friendliest happiest dog around. I took that picture barely a year ago when he was still in great shape. man how things can change. It won't be long now. It's almost time
