I've just learned to ignore it or schedule my trips to the park around odd times.

11a on Sunday's is nice because everyone in the bible belt is at church.

there's only one dog park in the community I live in buy like 30 recreational parks and 94 miles of bike paths.


I don't get why they can't fence in another area.

at least stop non-tax payers from using it.

We get a free parking sticker as long as the car's registration has an address within the area.

I wish ours had something like that.

I pay nearly 4,000$ in property taxes a year for a 1300sq ft CONDO, which is valued under 200k.


My hard earned money goes to support that park.........not someone who lives in another community.

You think you have it bad? We have the largest and most well run dog park in Orange County as well as the only local off leash dog beach in the County. How many visitors do you think we get? I don't mind them though, just the ignorant ones that don't understand dog behavior.

My guess is a shit ton of them. I just don't know why my community (which does not allow fences........it is a "park community") doesn't have at least one more.

Quit yer pregnant dogin' and organize an effort to get another one built.   All of the dog parks here are built with the help of a private citizens group, which works with the parks department.

Post some flyers to get interest and help, get some local sponsors (like pet supply shops for instance), have a private meeting to organize, then have a meeting with your parks dept. BAM...new dog park.  

Here's our local group. The site may have some good ideas to persuade you local officials why dog parks are needed. thanks to their efforts the Seattle area has a large number of very nice dog parks...all free to use.

It is absurd to be honest with you.


And the community I live in is run by a yuppy mafia group. It is hard to crack into it.
