Grace starts phenylpropanolamine tomorrow for her incontinence that started in December. Has anyone else dealt with this issue?

Our little dog has been on it for several years since we adopted him. He had a healed hip injury that we didn't know about until months after we took him in. Although his issues are caused by an injury the meds are very effective. There haven't been any noticeable side effects even with the daily dosing. The trick will be to find the right minimum effective dosage which will take a little time. Good luck to you!

pitbull

this is Trigger. He's a 7 year old pittie we adopted just over a year ago. I had decided I didn't want another pitbull after years of rescuing pits, but when we went to the shelter he was the staff favourite and they were upset that he wasn't likely to get adopted due his breed and the pitbull ban here in Ontario. Although he's old enough to be grandfathered under the legislation, many people don't want the hassle.

Anyhow, he's been a fantastic dog.

another one of him shortly after we adopted him. You can see some of the sores he had from all the licking from boredom. He now gets hour+ long walks each day and no more licking. The sores healed up within a couple weeks.
