She's a great looking pup Ted!!!

She still almost looks just as much Dobe as she does Rot though.  That's a good thing.   ;D
And the sugar fountain fairy swore so hard when she came to super-size that stale hope soybean; liiiike a homeless German woman. Who is this super-sizing spirit-crushing femme? And tell her I'll break a tree root up in her shrimp.

Being faster than you thought possible…it feels good. No, screw thatâ€"it feels like shotgunning a gallon of adrenaline and chasing it with an all-night orgy aboard a burning Viking boat.

Wow, the Artful Honey (as is every dog in this thread) is beautiful!  Great pictures!

And would someone please put a "kick me I'm stupid" sign on my back?

Going back to the boxer rescue in the morning to get Brian's "dew claws of approval"
on one of the other decrepit pups in dire need of a foster  (and permanent) home.

Nah...you're just doing what you were meant to....we all have the possibility in ourselves that is a chunk of the so-called prayer of St Francis...sometimes we turn off all the chatter and noise and we listen and act on it..

as excerpted

Where there is injury, pardon.
Where there is doubt, faith.
Where there is despair, hope.
Where there is darkness, light.
Where there is sadness, joy.

Yeah.... You're right Rat.

I've been a sucker for the unwanted, unwelcome quadrupeds for all of my life.....
It ebbs and flows but with just having started a new job, the timing couldn't be
worse.  But their timing is so much more critical.

Thnx.

Years back my little sister and her girl friends from work decided to go visit a so-called psychic after work for giggles...old Italian lady who worked out of the back of a family Bakery.

No sooner did the 5 or 6 of them sit down with her and she asked which of you is Amy?...my sister thinks "oh shit who gave me up"...she says "I'm Amy"....psychic says to her "your father wants you to tell your brother he has the dog"

the old bastard died alone in 1983...he loved my old German Shepherd...only thing he got along with...I use to drop the dog off with him on weekends

I had to put the dog down a few months before the old man croaked

I was the last one there before they shut the lid on him in the funeral home.... I stuck a picture of the dog in his jacket pocket

and told him to go find that dog and to take care of each other....no one knew that and I never spoke of doing that

"tell your brother I have the dog"

maybe they are all over there waiting for us....I'd like to think that

I like that story.

But if that's true...

Stella's gonna be mobbed by slobbery kisses when she gets there.

Not that I think she'll mind, but I'm sure she appreciates the "heads up."

Please, Stella, go get another one who needs rotisserie chicken and love. We're all here and hoping it turns out better for you and him/her.

I can't wait until Marquez gets on his level and makes Jorge trip on his tampon string.

Oh its for real...poor sister was all freaked out and wanted to know what it meant so I told her about the coffin-side moment of pity/sentimentality and the photo

...when my sister first called to tell me about it my initial comment was "so my poor dog is stuck burning in hell next to the old bastard?"...I guess not

way I see it someone or something has to get me past the rope-line at the Pearly Gates....

and it surely won't be a crowd of happy humans chock-full of glowing endorsements and testimonials about knowing me here

I hear ya.

In the words of a Catholic priest friend of mine "The only way I'm getting in is if Mary is sneaking people in the back door like a roadie at a Motley Cure concert."

I find it disturbing that you're imagining me in a sauna, never mind the teletubbie aspect of it

It's all in the grind, Sizemore. Can't be too fine, can't be too coarse. This, my friend, is a science. I mean you're looking at the guy that believed all the commercials. You know, about the "be all you can be." I made coffee through Desert Storm. I made coffee through Panama while everyone else got to fight, got to be a Ranger.

And now we have a Margie in the house.  A 2 ish flashy brindle boxer who's lightening fast (anxiety and excitement) so pictures at this point would just be IZzy.
