We just moved in 10 days ago so we're still getting settled. I wouldn't mind a goat but we hear this during the day and night so we're leery:

Wild COYOTES yipping, barking & howling (PART 1) 15 feet in front of me!!!

(not my video but will try to record them when they sing to us again)

We're pretty sure a pack has made its home in the BLM land that borders us. Oh, and a neighbor's dog got attacked by a black bear last week.

I'm thinking we'll get a lawnmower, in the meantime Grace has an acre left to trample, which she does gleefully.  [thumbsup]

Sounds like an awesome place.  Land of your own and public land adjoining.  You and Grace will have big fun.  Where is this paradise.

Hey That's Awesome!!  I used to live there.  I worked for the Zig Zag Ranger Station and Columbia Gorge. 

ZigZag it is either where they make the rolling papers or consume them.  I can't remember which!

So here's the pack of coyotes I was talking about...haven't caught a glimpse yet, just heard them. Tonight they seemed pretty close.
