I realize it's thurs but some nice cars are going for cheap.(for Barrett standards) The real litmus will be fri - sat. A 69 Olds W31 convertible just went for $26k. Steve Magnate is the man. Dude really knows the minutae of all the musclecars.

I cant believe Bob Varsha had to do this instead of F1 this weekend. Like Timmy, I hope to one day have enough spare coin to drop on a vintage race car or moto.

Just goes to show you that even though the economy is in the dumper, that there are still lots of people out there with lots of money to throw around.





Ultimatly, the Barrett Jackson auction tells you as a viewer that there are people out there who are wealthy enough to drop $30k plus on a new old car without even flinching, but that you aren't one of them...

lol....sort of like watching stocks; somone's getting rich, but it isn't you.

1967 Mustang GTA convertible 390 auto completely cherry Marti report 1 of 1 just went for $76k. Same car would have fetched WELL over 100k at last Barrett. I'm thinking 125 - 150. The big block Fords were going crazy. Prices are definitely off. Or back in check, if you will. Not too crowded for fri either.
