ciao a tutti -

was looking through the eye candy parts in the new speedymoto catalog ... and when i got to the back outside cover page ... low and behold ... there;s steve doing a head plant in turn 9 at sear's ama race ... and a nice slide into home plate ... just past turn 9. 

congrats steve on getting on the speedymoto catalog cover ... and hopefully next cover shot will be you and your bike upright in a race ... no need to do silly things again, just to get a cover shot.

derby -- A DMF member know for informing people when they r-e-p-o-s-t.  The board software auto-filter replaces the world "r-e-p-o-s-t" with "derby."  The real derby can be found here.

I emailed those to Christian @ Speedy Moto the week after the crash. Hopefully something good (see also: sponsorship/schwag) will come of it!

That explains why derby is the default text for "r-e-p-o-s-t" I had been scratching my head for some time as to why his name was chosen. "Makes the beast with two backs" was pretty obvious. what other name changing things are going on?
