And I'm working on my boss... he did try to relate to riding with a story about being in the open air on a tractor... at least he's trying.

Oh man, those tractor afficionados are just as nuts as motorcyclists.  My wife's uncle has more John Deere memorabilia than I have Ducati stuff!

Good luck with the Senna! Let us know what happens.

Our board is quiet too. So I thought I'd add some noise here.  Grin

Bought a PC3 and will be dropping off the monster today for a custom map/Dyno on Saturday.  Cheesy
Probably going to (partially) open up the airbox as well.

Sweet, hope you'll post up your dyno numbers when it's all said and done.

I shall.  Evil
I even have a dyno sheet from BMS when they did my 12K service as a baseline.

I need 1100 more miles on the Duc before my 15,000 mile service is due.   I'll be having that done at your shop, Smitch.  Hopefully you guys still have the winter discount??  So yesterday I did the Salida/South Park Loop and today I am looking for a destination.  I'm trying to rouse some of the NMMR to meet me in Taos, but I haven't heard anything back yet.  Let me know if anyone in the SoCo Dogs is up for a jaunt.  I'm heading out in the next half hour.  Have to take advantage of this incredible weather.   Stella??

P.S.  I guess I should've mentioned, I am in Colorado Springs now.  Makes a difference in meeting up places.   laughingdp laughingdp

Whaaa?  Anson moves down there, and you move up here?  Krazay!  Well, welcome to the Springs bonfy.  I fear you'll find our participation levels somewhat LOWER than NM!

Yeah...imagine that...quite the coincidence. Thank you for the welcome, Smitch.  And about that winter discount, DucDucGooseMe is always talking about how he brings his bikes up here for their maintenance service on account of the 10% off.  I guess I should call the shop next week to find out.  Tomorrow, some of the High Desert Hooligans are meeting me in Taos for lunch.  I am leaving out of here at 8AM if anyone wants to ride.  Hopefully fair skies will prevail.

Okay, here it is.

Cheesy

2001 Monster 900
Before: Pipercross air filter, Sil Moto low megaphones - no dB killers = 75.33 HP/53.40
After: +PC3, open airbox lid, custom map = 78.33 HP/55.40

I like the "whoomp, whoomp, whoomp, whoomp" sound at idle, and the BWWWWOOAAAHH!!! at WOT.
From my short ride, it's smoothed things out a little and reduced backfiring a bit.

I'll probably have to wait until a little later to give a more descriptive ride report.

Thanks to Faster Motosport in Denver. Thanks Bart!
