VS mass deleting? WTF!

Ok so apparently I am not the only one that just noticed that all NMC posts after Dec of last year just got vanished off TOB.

A little glitch?
Or is VS just mass deleting old community content now, so that new members don't realize something is missing and terribly wrong?
Did we manage to save/copy some of the really awesome threads? PIF, TOASTY, etc. 



Now I can't even get back on to check if it was a glitch.

Apparently I was perma-banned for sporting this tar the last few days.

Are you serious? I can't check either cause I've been banned as well, but it would be a shame if all the history and culture that was stored on the DML just as petty revenge or server space, I can't decide which is worse.

In any case, VS is really acting like a cornered animal, overly aggressive and making stupid mistakes that are gonna cost them present and future board members...

I was fine till I logged in. Now I can't log out, so it just goes to the ban page automatically. If I clear my cache/cookies etc can I get on as a guest again?
Or did they actually log/block my IP when I signed in?


Well. I could still use my work IP to get on as a guest, just for the morbid train wreck curiosity. :e:v

this would be more sad if not for all the members who want to delete all of their old posts. makes it kind of sound hypocritical........

Well, I think its just that we haven't had time to import those threads here that make it such a loss...

It's all still there. But, it's all been moved to ScottRNelson's "Hey VS admins..." thread. You will notice that it's like 8500 pages long now.
