Looks OK.  I think it looks better on the pre-696 monsters, there was more of a space it tucked up into.

Showroom stand of some kind I suspect.

I have to say that I don't like it on the 696. One of the things that I like about the new style monster is the hidden exhaust. This feels like they strapped the old onto the new and added a couple of inches to the center of the bike underneath. Of course if they found a way to run something like the stock header off the horizontal cylinder, we might have a winner in my book.

It's completely out of place in my opinion.  On the old Moster it works because it took the place of the udder - on this one it just sits there w/no rhyme or reason.  vomit

I tend to agree.  I love my ExBox on my 695, but on the 696 it seems clunky.  Of course I'm still not a big fan of the 696 so.......

+1. The exbox made sense on S*R monsters but really just looks tacked on here. But on the bright side, the exbox will take people's attention off the rest the bike.  Wink

I'm not sure I like it better than the Quat-D slip on's, but the effect on the performance of the bike would be enough to make me want it if I had a 696.
