Hopefully not a derby -- but I wouldn't believe it if I hadn't seen it.

hahahhahaaha.   awesome.

notice nobody screaming bloody murder at the close lane changes...here someone would have been run off the road, attacked, and then there'd be posts here about how the biker had to go after the car driver for almost killing him.

;D
It's still buy a flounder a drink month

I actually had a guy pass me today texting while driving.

That is plain crazy.
Why do roaches always die on their back?

That because the survivors flip them over to steal their sneakers and wallets.

I see it all the time (people texting while driving) and give them all the same treatment.

My technique:

As soon as I notice a driver texting while driving, I....

1. Try to position my car on the driver's side of the vehicle they are operating.
2. Assure there are no motorcycles around vehicle driven by texting driver.
3. Align front of my car with driver's side window. (horns located directly behind grille in front of radiator)
4. Depress horn button located on steering wheel.
5. Laugh my ass off as phone flys from driver's hand as they grab for the steering wheel.

Before you ask... No, I don't worry about them hitting me when they freak, they'll be at fault.
I solve my problems like an adult, at the strip club drinking on a work night.

i rode with a guy who was texting while riding once. he told me that because i had my belt covers off i was riding dangerously.

his helmet was securely strapped to the back of his bike the whole ride.

Yeah, sorry about that.

I can't believe people are texting while riding... driving i talk, etc but riding I just pull over and take the call or text back.  Too hard to hear/talk with the helmet and gloves don't work with my iPhone's touch screen.

It looks like he's manipulating the throttle body with his right foot.

i have had guys reach back and grab my crotch in an attempt to get around me. i'll either blow in their ear or ask them politely to let go of my wang.

They recently passed a law here in Arizona that texting while driving is a primary offense, meaning if a policeman sees you doing it he/she can pull you over and ticket you for it.  It came as a result of way too frequent fatal crashes that investigation showed the at fault driver was texting at the moment their car crossed lanes.

I think CA is getting the same thing next year. I don't get why it wasn't included w/ the hands free phone law. I guess they didn't think anyone was stupid enough to do it.  [roll] I mean wtf! Texting takes way more attention than driving and a lotta people text w/ both hands!  >:(

Related topic: Just my observation but I noticed here in upstate NY 9 out of every 10  [leo] are talking on their cell phones (no headset) while driving patrol cars. Seems to be an equal # of Troopers and Sherriffs.   I find this to be very hypocritical. Don't want to hear a line of crap about being specially trained either!

BTW I am not  [leo] bashing. I have the utmost respect for the job these people do for us. This particular double standard just happens to annoy the crap out of me.

They are legally exempt from the law but I can see how it looks bad.
