The world's coolest police car is going out of action only to be replaced by an even cooler one. In a private ceremony in Italy, Lamborghini donated a police version of the company's newest super sports car, the 2009 Gallardo LP560-4 Polizia, to the head of the Italian State Police, Prefect Antonio Manganelli. The new that Lambo replaces the previous Gallardo in use by the Italian police force since 2004 has a more powerful 560HP V10 engine and it can reach speeds of up to 203 mph or 327 km/h. The car will be used by the Lazio Highway Police Department. We don't know about the Lazio cops, but if we were in their shoes we'd be constantly chasing ghosts...

Lamborghini has done this in the past. I think when the Gallardo first arrived they donated one to the police for medical vehicle escort on a stretch of autostada.
