Can the new addition come play with the dogs?
If the state had not cut funding for the mental institutions, this project could never have happened.

Umm... Random observation here, but the new addition seems pretty wee for normal kitten status.

Might I ask how s/he/it is feeding at this point?

I can't wait until Marquez gets on his level and makes Jorge trip on his tampon string.

based on it size, we figure it's about 3 weeks old. Danny, the guy who found it abandoned in his back yard last weekend, says it's eyes had just barely opened at that point.

lm (the babys new mama) purchased infant kitty formula from petsmart. Helen (one of our old lady kitties), was found adandoned too, so lm knows her babykittymama stuff.

being a bit premature to be away from a real mama kitty, just means it fits in with our 'special needs" pet requirements  ;D

Bob = anger management issues
Desmo = leg missing, pees on himself when excited
Helen = old, drools when petted, lack social skills (hides under the bed all day)
Lela = licks everything, thinks Labrador means lapdog.
Sedici = has small dog syndrome, thinks barking = bigger, was rescued from a redlight district.
Lily = will only drink fresh tapwater, or water from mudpuddles (no in between), needs to be petted 24/7, has a morbid fear of cat litter.

So was Nate from the same litter as Helen? Do things like that get passed on to whole litters?

That's cute. I raised a few cats from infancy over the years. My current one was a feral cat that was rescued from the woods. And he's weird.
