I can imagine the conversation as my 4-year old tells her little sister "Look, he wears a pink cowboy hat!  Let's kick his ass!"   laughingdp laughingdp laughingdp

Today was a good day! Bike is now 100% rideable!
EDIT: before I catch hell for parking the bike in the handicap walkway... no one in my building even knows a handicapped person... let alone is one!

New Tire:

Home-made clutch repair:

Rash on seat cowl from wreck (took of heat shield due to excessive rash):

Brake lever that was far better than the one I had, new grips, and bar end turn signals (slick):

Front fender rash:

the other lever matches Cheesy

It's a 5/50 machine right now... doesn't look bad from 5 feet or at 50 mph:

And, my new toy!

I'd take a picture of the new camera that I used to take these pictures... but... umm... yeah.

 applause popcorn

That looks slick, Punx!  Congrats!  Ain't it grand to be back on two again?  We are a bunch of addicts.

May I ask about your new toy?  Is that a garden implement?  Like a spade?  I am trying to be sanguine here.  Do you get a lot of gardening in on your time off?

Just askin'...

you know, I think i'll leave those on, just because you guys like to give me shit about it

And yes Bonfy, every once in a while I find something that needs to be... ahem... dug up.  Which, in turn, leads to needing to bury things....

Well.. something happened today... I put it back together.. at least this far... and it actually started.. and had no check-engine light!!  go me!  Now its just time to save some $$ up and get the necessities together to finish up the 6000 mile svc. for now.. it looks like some cyborg-inspired street fighter.. Kinda cool.. its fun to go out into the garage and check it out and fantasize about riding crazy wheelies and terrorizing the neighborhood with the open mufflerless exhaust.  :-)

Time to hurry up and wait.. I pray the weather gets cold and gloomy.. it'll take my mind off of riding!

I'd rock a Royal Enfield, or a BSA, Norton, Etc...  I'm a fan of the ol Brit bikes...   Built to leak, and look cool.   Nice find on the B'mer! is it running?  What kind of shape is it in? Looks pretty good...
