The first of the items from the insurance money came in.

Arrow Cans.  Unfortunately or fortunately depending on how you look at it the cans don't fit on the stock headers cause the pipe is too damn big so all I could do is take pictures and wait till the headers get here.

My buddy came over last night and helped me pull off the lower clutch cover and alternator cover so I can send them  for black paint and to machine off the unneeded areas around the clutch pack.  A buddy talked me into this the other night and after seeing everything apart I'm seeing that it is going to be really freaking cool.  No less, Here are some pics.  I'll keep updating this thread as more parts get in and the bike comes back together.  As you can tell I'm just a little excited.  It's kind of like Christmas for me right now.    This thing is gonna look bad-assed.

Arrows

It's too big

My ingenious method for holding the wheel/engine still while trying to break the clutch pack loose.

another ingenious made up tool to remove the bolts holding the clutch basket on but keeping the engine from turning

Success

And the alternator cover side

and here are a few pics  of a CNC milled clutch cover.  Kick Ass

Those shots of milled covers are awesome.  I'm not sure I am going to pull apart my functioning bike to do it, but if I am ever in a rebuild situation - Hell Yea!  Can't wait to see pics when your bike is together.   [thumbsup] [popcorn]
