Dude.... those cans looked cool when you were holding them in the low position. Keep up the good work, looking good.

I had a friend that was going and doing the milling on his own and my insurance money just happened to coincide with his work.  I saw some people online charging $75 to do it.  That is about what I paid.

bike is back on the road.

still waiting on a few more things but at least the  motor is back holding oil again.

I hate to do this to you at this stage in the game.... but I was looking at it. With all those cherry gold bits on it, the tank would look absolutely schweeeet if you took off the stock stripes and had gold ones painted on. Black with gold stripes.... it's a classic(Hertz Shelby Mustang anyone?).

I believe they are Powder coated.  It's whatever Marchesini does from the factory.

As far as the gold stripe goes.  Yes I know, several people have suggested it and I think it's a good idea as well.

Got the Arrows installed Here are some pictures and a youtube video  :)  It is silly loud.  I love it!  Oh and don't forget.  I got these and some other choice add ons from chris at motorcyclewishlist.com :)  All very nice stuff.

The video has just the udder first for comparison.

added rear sets yesterday.  Picked up a used set of Ducati Performance Ergal Rear sets.  Does anyone else have these, if so does anyone have the special 6 pin tool to use the lock bolts rather than re-using the big bolt from the old rear sets.  Need to get the correct CRG levers and I'll be good to go for the spring.

Bike looks good, but I am going to disagree with you on the Arrows.  Previous exhaust had better aesthetics.

The straight udder?  If you heard them back to back you'd disagree.  The arrows are possibly the best sounding pipes I've ever heard.  I like the look better too but I think that is a pretty highly debated topic on this forum.  I really liked the shotgun pipes, even stock.

That yellow chair is tits!  [thumbsup]

Yah, My GF doesn't like that chair so it got relegated to the garage.  In the summer it's nice to pull it out and sit by the fire pit while all my friends are on folding chairs.  It's pure luxury.

Got to go for a ride today.  Finally warm and dry.  Sort of.  Holy shit, the rapid bike/open air box makes a noticable power gain, and dear lord this bike screams now.

Here's another pic or two.  Dammit, still forgot to photograph the shifter side of the rearsets.

Got some more stuff today.  Including the milled clutch cover.  Putting it back together tomorrow.
Where did you get the cover machined?  What is it coated with?
If you love your bike, set it free.
If it comes back to you, you've
probably high-sided.
