My Q: Who has a partial tail chop( without cutting the frame)  in NSW,  are they legal and or have you had issues with Police/RTA with them ?
Q: Are bar end mirrors legal in nsw and if so where did you get them and how much ?
Would appreciate any images of your bike with the above details

Howdy Dez, welcome aboard!

The most common tail mod floating around that doesn't require frame chopping is the CarbonWorld one. I've got one and I feel it improves the look of the rear significantly over the stock Beer Holder tail..

I haven't heard of anyone having any issues with  Police bacon for the Carbonworld kit..

Bar end mirrors are available in loads of places, I got cheapish jobbies of Ebay (cost around 50 bucks au shipped) that do the job. If you are into serious bling you might want to consider Rizomas or CRG Lanesplitters.

No pics right now, I will try and get some tonight.

Unfortunately the Au Dollar is not particulariy friendly right now when purchasing bling overseas Sad

Welcome Dez, glad you found us. Didn't know you were after a no-chop tail chop, we have got those (per Craigo) Grin. Might be worth having a look at the 'Show us your ride' thread, you might be able to work out a few chop/no chop/partial chop options from there.

Technically the no chop option is probably not quite legal ... just that it doesn't look illegal if you know what I mean. I know Jukie has a side view which indicates the impact of the carbonworld tail in her signature piccie - the 'Story Time' thread is usually a good place to see it Roll Eyes

Welcome Dez,

Mine has been chopped for more than a year and I've never had a problem.
I would say that most  Police wouldn't know the difference between chopped, partial chopped and stock looking.
The Carbonworld item is nice I did look at it for a long while before I decided that I really liked the chopped look.
You can see my bike and many others by clciking on my Flickr link in my sig below.

As far as bar end mirrors would there be a reason they are not legal  Huh?
There mirrors and they let you see what's behind you, doesn't matter where they are attached to the bike, so long as they are.
I had them on my bike when I got it, swapped them and am now looking to get some back on it again.

cheers
Matty...
