The exact spot is not "the worst" but it's proximity is close enough to throw a rock.

Where specifically is "the worst"?  (bordered by what streets?)  I am not from the area, and am planning to go to this, but want to avoid the really bad area in Long Beach.

Thanks

There are lots of "worst", I couldn't possibly begin to list them all.

If you were coming from the south via n/b PCH you would be fine heading west on Anaheim to the location.  From OC, 405 N exit Cherry south, turn left off the ramp onto Temple, follow that as it turns into Obispo, then west on Anaheim. If I was coming from LA on the 405 I would exit Cherry south, immediate left onto Spring Street, right (south) onto Temple then the same as the OC route. This skips the Cherry/PCH to Cherry/Anaheim stretch and the not so nice parts of Anaheim Street. Just don't speed from the 405 to PCH as that's Signal Hill and you stand a good chance of getting stopped. On the two 405 routes I would not waver from the main drag routes and certainly not take a shortcut down any of those neighborhood streets south of PCH. Am I being a bit paranoid? Maybe. I'd just hate to hear about any of you guys getting hurt or robbed. Heads up for guys on BMX bikes, that's a popular mode of transport for robberies.
