That there's a reason everyone's license plate sticks out at the bottom instead of going straight up and down. 

At some point while I was workng on mine I pushed the plate forward and I didn't think it mattered.  I didn't realize that the rear suspension had that much travel until my buddy comes over yesterday and asked what happened to my plate.  It was all bashed up and had a rear fender shaped dent in the bottom  Embarrassed  Oh well, it needed new paint anyway...

yep, it is amazing that the rear wheel can travel that far.

at least you didn't loose your plate, that has happend lots of times before.

It was my handy dandy super top secret strong zip ties that kept it on  wt:  When I was bending it back I thought about that.  I was surprised that it didn't just snap those ties right off.  Oh well, live and learn.

Great paint job pt.  I saved a picture of that last year because I thought it was cool and I just came across it again the other day.  I couldn't remember whose bike it was though.  Very nice.

Yeah, there weren't any zip ties on my plate, I lost it about a month after i got my registration sticker.

Thanks  waytogo  Bobby Kieth did it (www.cyclefinsh.net)  He does a lot of teh local race bikes here.

yup... i, uh, know a guy who did a homebrew tailchop and lost his plate for this very same reason... Roll Eyes

I've crunched the plate 3 times now!  Just got pulled over for warning cuz of angle.  No way I'm changing it to mkae it 4 times!!   Roll Eyes
