You've replied back since i started mine,,, so i'll elaborate... the M1100's oil cooler should do the trick when it comes out.

It does, but it will probably also fit the 696. Instead of retrofitting something that might work, that one should bolt right on.

Well, I just ordered my oil cooler.  It seems that the first batch won't be in until around Jan.  Thats fine with me since it will be snowing here then. 

How much was it if you dont mind me asking?

Just an update. The bike is at the shop getting the oil cooler and tail chop installed and I will have it back soon.  Pics to follow.

Wow, so it's already in. Didn't expect that or a damper to be available until 1/09. How much of a performance gain do you expect with the oil cooler?
