Well, I need my tank and tailsection painted on the Tuono...the tank has got a couple of scratches in it and I would like to take the opportunity to repaint the tank in all black instead of the weird scheme that is stock...I don't mind mailing it off if the work is good....

Sorry Frank, Home Depot spray can paint won't quite do the job this time!!

So you're keeping your bike? Didn't they total it? What about the guy that did the wayward 1098?
Off topic, do you want a ride to Ming's wednesday?

Rich, thanks for the ride offer...Tim said I could tag along with him, just not as pillion!!  bow down

The amount of "totalled Value" would've paid off the bike but not allowed me to get another anywhere near the payment I have now (something which right now is a big issue)...So we're gonna fix it...It seems if you purchase a non-current  year model, regardless if you bought it 4 monthsd ago, it's insured value is based on it's manufacture date.....great.... and the comparables are based also on the same........and the insuance company appararantly obtains their "values" based on what the used bike sector is currently supporting (i.e. Ebay, Cycle Trader, etc.)
'
So I googled the dude's company who repaired Rochie's bike and the first thing that pops up in the search results is some irritated customer's small claims court rant....plus I've discussed this company with another customer and have decided to stay away based on his comments.......so I keep looking...

P.S.:  I'm talking to an Atty (thanks Mike!) tomorrow and get this, it just may be that the punk who hit me gets over......and walks scott free.......I can't explain why.....have no insurance? hey, you get off...WTF?

nate did mine too, great stuff, knows the ducs very well.  not the super cheapest in the world, but it was worth the comfort of knowing a professional duc painter was doing the job  waytogo  He takes lots of pictures and keeps you updated too, so the customer service is great

I think someone locally had a few issues with him though, but I had a fantastic experience

it took about a month?  I think, not too sure, but it did take a little bit with shipping and everything

actually, red baron from the old board (not sure if he's here, i bet he is) did the superbike, he did a fantastic job of it too and I'd highly recommend either one

Yo Paulie, I'll let you know what kind of job my painter did once I see the tank (yes THAT tank, the one with the angry wife + baseball bat). It's done but it's at the shop with the bike. Price was reasonable but again, haven't seen the work yet. We shall see, he came highly recommended from a few people I know.

Thanks Joey !!

A co-worker/100% Harley guy talked me into talking to one of his "Biker shop" buddies and I think I'm gonna run with him....felt good after discussing what I need and saw some of his work...N-I-C-E....

So what do you think about gold inlay/gothic block printing of my home town, maybe a "naked chick on the mudflap" motif with a mix of primer gray?  Harley shop; gawd my life has gone to hell................but he apparantly paints pretty damn good!!

Look here Paul, I spent a good 30 seconds typing away a response to help answer your request. Next time I expect you to do some research before asking for help. Dammit, I want my 30 seconds back.  Angry

Grin  I keed, I keed.  Grin

Nah bro, it was a comment Paul made about my tank. He described it as looking like an angry wife took a bat to it. Jo wouldn't do that. If I pissed her off, it wouldn't be the tank that would get the baseball bat ---- it would be my head.  Shocked

I don't keed, I don't keed.  cheeky
