My rear foot brake piece broke today, just the metal with rubber part, separated from the major brake piece.  Can I JB weld it, get a new one, take it to a welder?

I don't think the terms "J-B Weld" and any variation of "brake" belong in the same sentence together.

Well, I guess I just violated my own pronouncement, but you get the point. If you're going to J-B Weld it, you might as well just plan on not ever using your rear brake.

In a pinch you could Hose clamp a piece of steel with an L shape to whats left of the brake pedal and have a temporary pedal. But I would still go with a permanent fix.
