Travman

An 860 GT with earlier bodywork.  Nice concept because you can start with a relatively inexpensive bike compared to the earlier 72-74 750 GTs.

the whole cafe racer scene is certainly post-war era... sure, folk have been soupin' up and racing bikes for as long as there have been bikes, but cafe racers are a particular niche

The only thing about the 860 GT is those damn ugly square cases, the same with the Moto Guzzi, I guess thats why they are cheaper.

Intended as a clubmans racer, the BSA Gold Star was the first road production motorcycle to come equipped with clip ons and rearsets, in fact the terminology comes from this era, born out of the availability of credit in the late 50's, people didn't really start to 'modify' until the early 60's when 'accessories' became widly available. 'Cafe Racer' is a recent term.

"Yelling out of cars, turning your speakers out the window to blast your music onto the street, setting off M-80 firecrackers, firing automatic weapons into the airâ€"these are all well and good. But none of them create a merry atmosphere of insouciance and bonhomie quite like a revving motorcycle.

Here's a couple of TunderDuc.  Chris works at Martin Motorsports and races a Ducati souped up sport 1000.

what a beauty!!

She sounds as cool as she looks.  Chris is in the Expert class at the track, and it's thrilling to watch him blow away the competition.  (With less horsepower!!!)

I can't wait until Marquez gets on his level and makes Jorge trip on his tampon string.
