Hey Billy, I have the MotoGP 2007 game on XBOX360, but I don't play online.  That game is awesome so glad to know I am not the only one playing it...  Also, I love to play some COD4 too.  FYI COD5 is due out November 11.

So last night I got home and couldn't stand the suspense...As I peeled away the cellophane wrapper, I imagined myself on the starting grid with the likes of Stoner, Rossi and such...

I powered up the PS3 Consol...red light turned green and the whir of the fans was enough to get my heart racing.  Big Screen HD was warming up and I began to sweat.

My hands trembled as I removed the bluray from it's plastic container and prepared to slip it ever so gently into the console....

As the intro to the game began I made sure my controller was charged and ready for battle, a battle with living legends, right there in my living room.

I don't recall blinking during the entire introduction to the game. The graphics were a little disappointing considering all the hype behind the PS3, but F#$k it.  I didn't care.  I was about to embark on the race of a lifetime.

I skipped the tutorial, logged into the PSN and prepared for battle, choosing my weapon of choice, the casey stoner Ducati Desmosedici GP8.

As other participants logged into the network, I stretched out my fingers and prepared myself.
GREEN LIGHT>...GO!!! As I mashed the throttle I was amazed at the acceleration of this machine.

Into turn 1...Lost control and crashed.  As I continued to BUTCHER the Duc in each turn I felt my dream of racing on the GP Circuit slowly slip away.  Lapped twice, shut off the game and went to bed.

Tomorrow I'll take the tutorial [moto]

Yeah, I think I have to fire up the XBOX tonight now.  That game has a steep learning curve, more of a simulator than arcade game, and the graphics and physics make if feel pretty realistic.  No plug and play, rather it will take some time to develop the skills but it's well worth your time because it is great fun once you have it down.

I have the '05 game for PSP. If you think it's hard with a full size controller, try the little PSP. It took me a while but I got the hang of it. The key to getting faster I think is to get to know the tracks inside and out.
