Big Troubled Bear asked me to post this up as a way to say thank you for all your support and prayers.

She started to go on friday night and went into a coma during saturday afternoon, we kept her at home on the doctor`s advice as they could not do anything anymore and her wish was not to be kept on machines. As mentioned some time ago she has been battling this disease with some success for the past 20 years, so we kept our promise and made her as comfortable as possible during her last few days with us.

The sad thing is her last words to me and my wife was that she hoped that we were ok after my father in law`s funeral as we just got back from that sad event, she went on to say that she will be our son`s Angel after she`s gone, after that she could not speak any more, we at least had time to say our goodbyes.

My father is heartbroken, they were married for 47 years.

I thank you alot for your kind words, there still are decent people on this planet and some of you people on the forum are proof of that.

I would appreciate it if you could maybe post this e-mail some where to thank the people that kept me and my family in their prayers, as I am not able to do it at the moment.

Prayers on the way for her and the family.

Touching last words. If it is any consolation the pain is gone.

I watched my grandfather wither for around the same amount of time. I was very young and it was tough.

Why do roaches always die on their back?
