...or actually broken at the studio, and has been since last wednesday.

i've been wearing my jacket, and today gloves  >:(

my toes and fingers are numb and it hurts to type...

tomorrow i am coming to work in ski clothes :)

my boss called the building owner, who hired the repair company, and the repair guys have been here everyday... what is taking so long? what on earth could be that wrong? did they fix it and my boss is just being cheap?

i have work to do here in the studio, or i'd be at home right now...

what should or can i do?

Autostrada Pilot

Electric space heater.

Might not heat the whole place, but it will at least help with the numb fingers and toes.

Keep a flask of your favorite beverage handy...  ;D

Buckethead

Bring in a blanket and some hot chocolate and someone to snuggle with on "coffee" breaks.

I can't wait until Marquez gets on his level and makes Jorge trip on his tampon string.

Gather up some papers.

Put them in a wastebasket.

Light it on fire.

If the state had not cut funding for the mental institutions, this project could never have happened.

I haven't turned the heat on yet at home.
It has averaged 62 - 68 in the apartment the last few weeks.
I'm not turning the heat on still.

The cats have been more friendly, more willing the lay on me as of late.
The girlfriend is always near, but not as friendly.

I told her heat will be on Dec. 1.

I work with a guy that won't turn his heat on until October 15, because that is statistically when he needs to (he's kept track over the last 30+ years). Nevermind if we're having a cold month...October 15th.

Last year around October 8th or so he said he could see his breath when he got up.  :o He's obviously not married.  ;D

make the beast with two backs that...I like to be warm.  [thumbsup]

On topic:

I second the fire recommendation. Heating system wil get fixed quickly.  ;)

I really pissed her off the other day when I hung this picture:

And said that we should use it as inspiration when we get really cold.

i don't know how cold it is, i'm guessing 50ish...
my heat works just fine, so i don't own a space heater

i like to be warm too, and i'm feeling like it's not my responsibility to bring in a heater so i can be warm at work...

I found a solution by putting my cold toes and hands on Mother's midsection under his shirt.

I earned a dirty look, a blanket, and a couple degree rise in room temp.

And of course, the immense satisfaction and hilarity of making him yelp like a girl when I did it.  [thumbsup]

Alternative suggestion: Take Nate's advice and call in sick until they fix it.

what are the rules regarding that?
is it legitimate to stay home? or am i required to make myself warm by bringing a space heater in?
