Slider controls for avatars???

I noticed that this morning everyone with full-width avatars has a slider control at the bottom that allows you to slide it back and forth horizontally by TWO pixels.

Maybe it's just a Firefox thing, but it didn't do that yesterday evening.

Somebody please change it back to the way it was.
