So, I put the bike into "winter mode" and I won't lie, it's more or less killing me since this was the first summer with the bike. However, it's time to do some of the bigger mods so the fun isn't really over yet. Time to do more tinkering...

That being said, I need to get a few things powder coated and wondering what I should be expecting for costs. I know it will depend on the size and overall amount of items that I need done, but generally speaking, what stuff have you done and how much did it cost? I need to get my headlight bezel done and a few little bits here and there, including the rearset's on the 696.

Also, I might send out the headers for ceramic coating and wondering what you all are paying out there for that.

Any info would be great. Thanks.

I'm also curious what it should cost. I'm clueless to whether I got a good, bad, or normal deal.

I was quoted $140 to get the headlight holder, heat shields and rearsets powder coated flat black. I ended up not bringing in the rearsets, didn't feel like pulling them off at the time. They charged $90 plus tax for the headlight holder and the heat shields. They said that was the minimum price for getting stuff powder coated.  They also said it was a pretty good turnover time, but I didn't expect it when they called me the next day to come pick it up. I'm still going to do my rearsets, just waiting for a rainy day.

thats about right.....
www.paradisepowdercoating.com
had a minimum setup of $96
did the rearsets and passenger pillions on the speed triple satin black....
broke down to something like 36 for the rearsets/ pillions, 18 for the brake and clutch pedal, etc....
whole deal was about $120.....
and turned out GREAT.

Mine charges a minimum of $95. But its what ever you can reasonably fit on a 3x5 rack, same color.

I've had two different full exhaust systems ceramic coated and they ran about $220.00 a piece. This was for inside/out and can internals with end caps.

PC prices above are about the norm.
