I've just installed genmar risers on my '07 695, and to make it fit without binding I slightly loosened the banjo bolts so I could turn the clutch and brake fittings down. The risers are in and torqued to spec, but I'm not sure I'm reading the correct value for the banjo bolts.
The manual says "Clutch hose fitting" 23 nm and that seems very high considering that it's a hollow bolt and the handlebar riser bolts were torqued to 20 nm. Oddly enough, there's no mention of the brake hose fitting.
Is 23nm the correct value? I don't want to strip the threads or break the banjo bolt with too much torque.
Thanks in advance.
