"Yelling out of cars, turning your speakers out the window to blast your music onto the street, setting off M-80 firecrackers, firing automatic weapons into the airâ€"these are all well and good. But none of them create a merry atmosphere of insouciance and bonhomie quite like a revving motorcycle.

That's a tattoo, or more accurately a cover-up tattoo.  It's going to be removed sometime in the near future, i.e. when I get off my ass and do it.

what does being sedentary have to do with it, seems you'd have to be sitting down for the laser procedure...

Because strangely enough, where I'm sitting right now, there is neither a laser nor a qualified doctor to operate it.

it feels like a rubber band continually snapping your skin.  each snap is a burst of the laser lysing the ink.  hurt 10x as much as the needle.

There are ways around that. I have had several laser hair removal treatments on my neck (I have mild psuedofolliculitis barbae). It's slightly painful, but you can get this stuff called Emla cream. It has two types of topical anesthetic in it. Works well, but takes 30-40 mins to take full effect...

...so this is only partly a picture thread....

no, this is valid stuff. the topic heading is "what the hell do you look like, etc..."

now we know that Nakid has way too much hair, Luca has auditioned for a Borat sequel , and Daryl has at least one tattoo that he doesn't like

all important (and somewhat disturbing) information  8)

this is me in leaner times... leaner meaning I ate better and moved more often (and shot more people, hence lower stress level)...

That's fine.  Pain is not something that bothers me.  I've spent well over 100 hours under the needle, including my rib panels and armpits and I was fine.  Plus, the tattoo is so small, it's maybe a minute of pain per session, no biggie.

If you actually had that tattooed, I think you deserve the pain of having it removed ;)
