My bestfriend is actually piloting the fluorescent yellow Menard's car right by my leg.

It was a great weekend; he got 5th place 


I met Nicky Hayden as well, but no pictures to show of it. He did a lap around the brickyard on his GP bike; The new course looks fantastic, it has some technical turns and lots of variation. I can't wait til September.

(i have to say, that photo of the real shark makes me clench up reaaaaal tight.   i've scuba dived many times and the LAST thing I enjoy seeing underwater is a lounging great white shark..   hopefully, if i ever do see one, he'll be a nice fattened one like that, and not lean and hungry... eeep!)

i've only seen lemons.  they are small but still have that "you look like a chicken leg" look

I was diving down in Palau, and there's a place called Blue point and Blue Corner where people dive to check out the big Pelagic fish.  We didn't seen any of the real big boys but we did see bunches of black tip reef sharks up to about 6'+.  We also saw a Zebra shark which was very cool looking. 

It's one thing being around the fish you know are docile, versus the open water hunters.  I feel like reef sharks are like being in a room with a cat.  They generally don't pay any attention to you and usually stare off at something you can't identify. 

Now that I think about it (it was two years ago) we DID see some white tips.  I may even have some pictures of them.  I'll check when I get home.
