RED, I'll put this on the calendar but I'm really confused. Please PM me about the specifics.

The confusion came when my dyslexic mind got things turned around and my mouth said the wrong thing...ie the 9th. Get it? ...2/1/09 ...er...2/9/...I know it's cheesy  laughingdp

Bumped and moved back here. Not to be disrepectful to anyone but as a Public Service Announcement this notice is posted. The cook off has gathered much steam in the past couple of weeks and there are several new entrants this year so it should be a good time for all who come. Also, since this is the year of Change, we are allowing beans(for the first ever) as a replacement for meat-based recipes. This is done in consideration of our veggie bretheren who need to be incorporated into the cook off so all can benefit fromtheir inclusion in The Spirit of Change. We Can Do This. Let's come together on Sunday, Feb. 1st at RED's. PM me for directions.

Some scientists claim that hydrogen, because it is so plentiful, is the basic building block of the universe. I dispute that. I say there is more stupidity than hydrogen, and that is the basic building block of the universe.

I think we're "in" on this; Sam's back on track after being out all week sick so I'm thinkin' some chili sounds pretty good.  What should we bring, RED?

be assured there will be NO standards for Chile this weekend! triple, double or any other type.  laughingdp  to answer your question Cher, if you are entering a pot of chile, bring it and whatever alcoholic beverage you prefer. Others who are not entering can bring said beverages and a snack of some sorts. i think you will have a good time either way. thanks for the comments!  applause cheeky Vino! laughingdp

Red, what about bowls, do you need a stack of small disposables? Spoons? Smelling salts?
