Today's dick move:

I'm in the minivan and I stop at a four way stop.

A black BMW is approaching the intersection at a good clip, but I start to go anyway (hey, it's my turn)

While I'm half way through the intersection he makes a move to turn right in front of me, so I slow way down. At the last minute, he stops, realizing I'm there.

I give him the "I've got two kids in the car you asshole" scowl and proceed.

At which point, he pulls in behind me and then passes me on the left, despite the oncoming traffic.

Next time I'm just gonna ram him.

Although, in his defense, if I spend that much on a car I didn't know how to drive, I'd be bitter and angry too.

See? Intention has a lot to do with it. That guy is an obvious dick. I'm also in favor of paintballing a dickheads car so everybody gets fair warning he's a dick.

Get a cattle guard on the minivan, DM, and go all Mad Max on the next BMW douche you encounter.   Evil

Minivan's don't need cattle guards. Just good insurance.

It's not like it inspires any sort of loyalty or love, except insofar as I love my minivan as an awesome appliance.

A completely disposable awesome appliance  Evil

So I say "Damn the torpedoes! Ramming Speed!" and WTFGAS if the van gets totaled  Grin

My nomination for Dick Move of the Day (automotive division) is the guy in the Hummer I was following this afternoon, who flipped a U-turn on Doyle Drive.

Well, actually, being in a boat of a vehicle, he couldn't quite complete the turn so had to back up to do a little K-turn action.  Shocked

Un-be-frickin'-lievable.

How cool would it have been to block him doing about a dozen of these:

So today I missed another SUV making a U-turn from a parking space. Whatever. Common these days at rush hour.

This was the best: Duboce and So. Van Ness light waiting to get on the 101 on the big looping on ramp. Light turns green, I'm in front on Duboce, I go.
Fool in a Cadillac Escalade blows past the on ramp having just made the light from So Van Ness before us...And its in the wrong lane. The wank throws it in reverse and starts SPEEDING backwards across lanes against the traffic coming out of the light on Duboce, hops over the sidewalk and across on ramp entrance with cars honking and skidding in all directions to miss it. (yes, backwards, in reverse.) Realizes it's over shot the second time and stops blocking the on ramp all cock-eyed and unable to rectify.
Then there was a spontaneous eruption of Beethoven's 9th symphony in horns.

You win the prize!

Wow.

That's all I can say. Wow.  A very worthy DMOD!

(So why is it people think that if they miss an exit or on-ramp they'll never get to get off on the next one or go around the block to get on?)

I saw this happen right in front of me and one lane over the other day. There was a car on a side street that just had to get out in heavy traffic, he couldn't wait. So he quickly pulls out right in front of a big Pickup truck, and made the Pickup slam on its brakes to avoid hitting him. Then he proceedes to drive slow. But here's the good part. The Pickup truck was Park police so after the guy quit shitting his pants, he lit him up and pulled him over. I would have loved to be the fly on the wall to see what happened after that.
