WOW :o

What a Amazing Car.

The seats fit you like a Glove. The shift is so short and sweet. The Car feels like a motorcycle. It Revs high and right when you think there is plenty of room for rpms the needle flings right into the Redline.

I think I am in Love.

I think I may go pick it up in the morning if all works out right.  [thumbsup]

Absolutely, closest thing to a motorcycle w/ 4 wheels- That's why I got it. Had to give up riding for a while  :'(. But now I'm back.
Honda, in my opinion, has some of the sweetest stock shifters you can get, and their cars are always on the light side. Really hope you enjoy the car!  [thumbsup]

I've got an '07 GPW that I absolutely love!!  The car handles twisties like you wouldn't believe and is super fun!  As stated earlier, the older ones did have some issues with violent oversteer when pushed to the limit, but Honda altered the rear suspension spec for the '05 models and it took a lot of that out.  I was actually surprised at the amount of space the car has in the boot, as I was expecting much less.  The wife and I rented a Z4 the last week we were in Germany and did a quick tour of the Bavarian/Austrian Alps, and that car had MUCH less usable space in the boot.

The one thing that I would look out for on the car is for very small tears in the soft top material just above, and to the outside, of the rear glass.  Some cars have developed that if their tops see a lot of raising/lowering.

Here are a couple of pics of mine;

^^^^ Nice  [thumbsup]

I have been removing badges off of my cars for years.  [thumbsup]  So much cleaner. I even got the old-man to remove his from his Lexus.
Woohoohoohoo! Two personal records! For breath holding and number of sharks shot in the face.

Nice DRKWNG. Did you lower the car also?
I have and '04, think I could remove the badges without leaving shadows on the paint?

Thanks guys.

Yes, I lowered mine with Tein Stech springs.  Low enough to change the look a bit, but subtle enough to not look too extreme.  Plus, the oem dampers seem to be a better match to these springs than the stock ones.

Not really sure about that.  Think it would mainly depend on what colour yours is and how long it has spent out in the sun.  You might be able to get away with it if you have either Sebring Silver or SPA/RIO.

After driving mine a few days I am in Awww.

I love the stock sound, The seats are very confortable, The steering is so precise and I can feel the road unlike any other car I have owned.
I love it when the Vtec kicks in at about 6k or so. The car turns into a Monster then. The Gear shift is simply amazing. By far the easiest Clutch I have
ever driven. Nice short and precise shifts.

I took some turns on it and I cant believe how well the car handles. Now I just need to learn how to drive it the right way. I probabaly will go take a track day class with it.

I did break mine loose to see how the Oversteer was. It scared the shit out of me at first but It was easily correctible.

I think the only thing I am going to do is get some after market rims next year since the Stock ones are FUGLY imo.

Congrats on getting the car!!  It will continue to amaze you at how fun it is.  And just wait until you do take it to the track, and get to embarrass quite a few people with cars that cost more than double the S.

Be glad you didn't get one a few years older.  You most likely would not have recovered it until it came to a rather abrupt halt against a tree or ditch.  ;)

Okay here is the crappy photo from my Iphone.

I am going to keep it stock other than changing the Fugly Rims and putting some nice tires on it.

No Volk no care.  ;)

What tires do you have in mind?  The Bridgestones that came stock on mine are pretty good.

I am not sure which tires to get. The Car has some brand new rear tires right now but they are some off brand called Nexen.
The rear end seems to break free pretty easy so I am guessing its to do with the crappy tires they put on the car.

Nice car, rob. Same color as mine (exterior). I highly reccomend garaging it or at least keeping a cover on. I had to replace the convertible top about a year ago, and it was pricy (about $1900).
