All this talk about oysters has started a craving... who's in for a Marin Loop for oysters at Marshall, CA?

http://www.sfgate.com/cgi-bin/article.cgi?f=/chronicle/archive/2005/10/19/FDGSJF7RHK1.DTL

Marin Oyster Co.
The Marshall Store: 19225 State Route 1, Marshall, CA

I'm not sure if this is the place that's before Nick's Cove... but if it is the little place by the waterfront with round tables and chairs along the road, then I'd like to try it out since I've ridden past it a bazillion times and have always thought how quaint/cute it is... does anyone know if they serve other food than just oysters?

SF Meeting place - Presidio Theatre on Chestnut Street - 10:00 am, Kickstands up at 10:15 am
Marin Meeting place - Starbuck's at Tam Junction - 10:30 (we're just rolling through to pick up anyone who lives on this side of the Bridge)

This ride is open to all motobike's.  We'll separate into two groups if we're more than a handful.

Don't worry, I'll make sure your share of the oysters are well cared for.   Grin

FWIW - if it is a nice day, leaving at 10:30 will be a chore with traffic up rt. 1

I'd rather wait for the roads to dry up a bit more  Kiss .... plus if we leave earlier, somehow the idea of raw oysters for breakfast just doesn't seem as appealing...  cheeky

Yes, please take lots of pics. I'm no where ready for a long ride (my wrist and leg locks up). I would definitely be a hindrance.  Cry I am going to try to schedule my ACL surgery early '09 so I can be ready in the Spring to ride again.

Have fun and be safe!

Wish I could have made it, but the stomach flu was raging through the Monkey household.

And normally I loves me the oysters. But not after recovering from doing a combo if these two smileys:  bow down vomit

stomach flu's are not fun - hope the Monkey household has recovered!

my new camera died on me *again* and am waiting for a new *life-cam* to arrive in the mail in the next day or so.  Which means that I'm at the mercy of my girlfriend, Pie, who was a cupcake on this ride, and her pics.  She promised to email them to me today so I'll post some pics up when I receive them... glad that ya'll are so enthusiastic about seeing the pics...hope they don't disappoint Smiley
