It could be the only Harley I ever own. I grew up on AMA flat track racing. It goes deep into my scooter psyche. I watch my On Any Sunday dvd way more than I should. There is probably a 12 step program about flat track racing I should look into. It's all American and the base of hundreds of racers... many who have become World Champions in other venues of bike racing. Hell, it's the Rock and Roll equivalent to bike racing!

not a bad looking bike...i'm happy to see them do something like this.  i thought the nightster was pretty cool, but this is way better.  just wish those cans ended a bit higher up, ala the S2/4r

Daaaaaaaaamn! This is looking more and more like the 1978 XLCR style offering. Saw some of those on ebay recently for 8-10k. All this needs is the cafe racing bubble fairing like a Paul Smart, a little CF here and there, clip ons and I'd grind the back of that biotch in some twisties ala THC style any day. And when the breakage inevitably happens you won't have to spend an apendage to get parts.  As the Dodge boys said...Sweeeeeeeeeeet. Go Americans!

Oh yes they have also a Race Series in France, Spain and italy

I know why they bought MV Agusta. Makes sense. They wanted a euro bike company under their corporate umbrella to cheat on the import tariffs and set up a production facility over their. But why in the hell did they make the bike that everyone in the States has been crying for since the '77 XLCR cafe racer for the euro market only? Were they trying to piss off their US customer base? Seems like they have done a good job of that. Tongue
