I am highly considering this modification for my bike and had a few question.  I know I will have to do something about my ecu and I want to wait till after the dust settles with the new nemesis ecu to make that decision.

So here are my questions:
Since the ExBox is a full system, if I go with an open airbox/ecu will there be some gain like the termi ki?

If i want, can I go with a bell pan down the road?

Does it effect which rearsets I can use (as far as I know the only companies that make rearsets for the 695 are rizoma and sato, correct me if i am wrong)?

Do I have to worry about my lean angle/ground clearance with this system? ie will it strike the ground if lean to far or hit a pothole.

Is there anything else I should be concerned about?

Is there a removable baffle kit in case I need to quite the bike down for whatever reason?

Thanks a ton!

unlikely to be any gain with the x-box, its more about look/sound than power. however, if you open the airbox, you are going to change the fuel/air mixture, so be prepaired to spend some time and/or money getting that sorted out. not sure what you refer to with the ECU, unless you mean to use a power commander to do a remap.

there are some pics around here with folks who have the x box and a belly pan.....

no idea...

maybe with pot holes or speed bumps, but it should improve lean angle clearance

Is there anything else I should be concerned about?
they are kind of a hassle to fit initialy, but doable for the average owner

mine came with a little "plug" which i assume was to baffle one of the exhaust ports, but i never have tried it.

Thanks a ton!

do a search here on the board. there are a bunch of pictures from folks who have installed the x-box, as well as some discussions

Thats alot of $$$ for the just the ECU but I would expect you would get similar gains compared to the termi slipons that come with the ECU.
At the very least get a fatduc o2 manipulator, the exbox will lean out the bike quite a bit & 695's are running lean already with the stock pipes.
the exbox and the ECU is about 2K right there and I toyed with the same idea a while ago but decided not to
