check this link for how to post a picture
http://ducatimonsterforum.org/index.php?topic=109.0

in that link it'll tell you to click on properties of the picture and copy the url.. i'm sure there is a 'mac equivalent' way of accessing properties of the picture without the need to right click?

The easiest way is to put them in a flickr or photobucket account and copy and paste the image url from there, also serves as a backup if you ever have a crash, (but it is a mac we're talking about so less likely to happen  Wink)

As I don't have a right left button on my mouse

With a single button mouse on a Mac, holding down the control key and clicking is the equivalent of a right click.

Okay I use a Mac and this works for me........

1. Post the pic on Flickr
2. Got to Flickr and click on the pic so it is displayed.
3. Hold down the "control" key and click on the pic.
3. You will get a dialog box with the option to "Open Image in New Window" or "New Tab".
4. Do this and open the pic in the new window or Tab
5. Cut and paste the URL on THIS page to DMF and your pic is up.....  waytogo

I use this logitech 8 button mouse. No pesky keyboard shortcuts to worry about, and no cord to get in the way.

You need to click on the second icon from the left on the bottom row (the picture frame) and paste the URL in between the "img" inserts.

If you click on the "Reply with quote" button for this post you will see what I mean.

With photobucket it's a straight copy and paste, you have  4 choices,  you have probably selected "direct link" to the image , select the bottom one under your picture called "IMG code", click on the little window to the right of that, it will highlight the text, ctrl then click to copy,
then directly paste that  into your post, it will automatically put in the quotes etc. needed.

You can set the 'right click' option on your mighty mouse (i'm assuming that's what you have)

go to: system preferences - keyboard and mouse - click on mouse tab.

there should be a check box or something in there to allow the 'right click' function. Then it just works similar to a normal mouse.

Personally i don't like the mighty mouse and am using a Razer DeathAdder Mac edition
