isn't there a type of black that doesn't fade to purple?

also, was thinking about that process for the rearsets?

I've read several things that say the hard ano won't fade.

I can tell you with first hand experiance it will eventually.  Maybe the guy I use isn't doing the process correctly, but the last nakid bike I had with black ano'd forks ended up with dark purple forks in the sun after maybe a year or 2.

Whatever ducati used stock on my rearsets has turned a greyish color....but I'm fixing that  waytogo

+1 on this paint.  Used it on mine also.  Got some chips on the cans after four months so I've powder coated them, pics soon...

BTW that giant ball of fire and light in the sky will fade ANYTHING, eventually.  So it's really a matter of how often and how much you want to spend to keep the right color going
