"Yelling out of cars, turning your speakers out the window to blast your music onto the street, setting off M-80 firecrackers, firing automatic weapons into the airâ€"these are all well and good. But none of them create a merry atmosphere of insouciance and bonhomie quite like a revving motorcycle.

Friend of mine made a youtube video showing off his rifles, and some of the killls he's made: rabbits, pigs, and some FERAL cats. He has literally received 10 000s of hate messages because of the cats (which are a dangerous pest here).

Waaa freakin Waaa! Keep you "pets" off my property and they won't get shot. While rabbits are cute and cuddly, wild ones are mean, carry diseases and damage property....

I used to shoot wild rabbits on my cul-de-sac with a .22 magnum (for tearing up sod)... until the neighbors complained about the noise startling their cats.

Now I think rabbits are greatâ€"I even have two. But neighbors still suck! [cheeky]

Edit: I actually wonder how the guy killed that one (the ones I shot exploded).

Statler

Kind of hopes he skins them and roasts them on a spit within view of neighbors.

I LOVE what the guy said:  "When you move into the countryside don't bring your city standards with you."     We have chuckleheads that live in neighborhoods near farms that have existed for 150 yrs. who constantly pregnant dog about the smells, early noise and open burning. It gets me incensed!   >:(

every year we have folk who migrate up here from the city looking to raise their children in clean air and clean living

usually the first project is to build a solid 6' fence around thier yard and hang a pair of metal halide lights up

they call the police in the first month 4 times because they hear gunshots

then they come over and ask that you don't shoot raccoons off your porch anymore because they have children and they fear stray bullets
(we aim here and identify backgrounds...interesting concept you yuppy pricks)

they lose the cat to a coyote and the dog to the Hwy

then the snow comes and the power goes out for a week

and

the house is up for sale in early spring just in time for the new couple from NY and thier new baby to move in over the summer and repeat the process anew every year

It's all in the grind, Sizemore. Can't be too fine, can't be too coarse. This, my friend, is a science. I mean you're looking at the guy that believed all the commercials. You know, about the "be all you can be." I made coffee through Desert Storm. I made coffee through Panama while everyone else got to fight, got to be a Ranger.

I used to raise turkeys.

Sold them every year the Sunday before Thanksgiving.

My neighbor across the road came to me one day to tell me his dogs were bringing home turkey feet.

This was just a couple of days before Thanksgiving... ;D

I'm a complete pansy.  (city kid)

But I know where food comes from and I have plucked a goose when required. (long time ago).

G's aunt invites us to PA every year for the slaughter.  They have a farm.  (pig, cow, and dear in the slaughterhouse)

I'd learn real fast if needed.

People forget.

+1

The rabbit on the fence definitely had some pet rabbit genes, but if it's on his property, he has every right to shoot it.
He says he's up to around 300 KIA so far. sounds like an opportunity for a side business to me. Rabbit meat is delicious, the fur is nice and warm, and there's always those lucky rabbits feet(I never understood that. They sure weren't lucky for the rabbit!).
