This hasn't come up in a while.  I read it now and then, and today when I checked it saw a post from the page's owner.

He's trying to keep paid advertising at bay, and is selling Post Secret books to help do this.

If you like the site, or know someone who does maybe get them one of these books for Christmas?

If that sounds like a bad idea, then just enjoy the website.

:)

well, websites cost money, right?

What would we do here if nobody donated and there was no paid advertising?  Someone would be paying out of pocket, right?

If it were me, id try to sell my book.  If that failed id accept the ads. . .

not on blogspot.com... it's a free blog hosting site.

and there already adds on his page, his own.

and notice, Amazon donates 10% of the proceeds.... nevermind that he gets royalties on book sales...

I used to look at that site all the time.
Now I just read the same 6 post cards every week basically.

I'm sorry your daddy wasn't nice to you.
Or that guy was mean to you in highschool.
Or how you could never trust another guy after your step-dad cheated on your mom.
Or you just can't come out of the closet cause your Dad is in the Klan...

Grow the make the beast with two backs up, get on with life.

(Note: There are some sincere thoughts in there, but most the time, it is just people complaining about nothing.)

I removed my negative comments

I am ashamed to admit the winter blues and cabin fever seemed to have kicked in a wee bit early this year

yes I still think it is merely a sales angle

but

this is a capitalist country so what isn't a sales angle?

Maybe VS is trying to buy him
